The Woodrow Band Boosters are excited to announce the first ever Woodrow CATfest – an annual outdoor community festival featuring our Wildcat Band and fine arts programs.

 

The Woodrow Catfest is our Band Boosters’ primary fundraiser to bridge the Band’s critical funding needs, increase performance and leadership opportunities for our young musicians and performers, and inspire our feeder pattern students to pursue their interests in band and fine arts. 

 

Proceeds will bridge the critical gaps in the Woodrow Wilson Band’s budget, including:

• Scholarships for students unable to pay for band fees and lessons

• Leadership Camps for student leaders and color guard

• Color guard uniforms and flags

• Instruments for current and in-coming student musicians

 

We’re inviting our DISD community out for food, refreshments, entertainment and family fun! Additionally, we’re continuing the tradition of inviting professional musicians to partner with band members on stage and improve musicianship – this year's partner is the Karla Kay Band!
